"The location of this property is perfect. It's a 2-3 minute walk to Nyhavn and across the water (less than 10 mins), you have Broens street food already. Despite being close to many things and being in the waterfront, it was very quiet. "Easy check in and check out, spacious room with harbour view, comfortable bed and friendly staff. However, we have stayed at Copenhagen Island many times over the past 10 years and it really felt like the hotel is in need of some TLC. We also didn't like the change in policy requiring you to request for your room to be serviced. That said, we had a lovely stay and the location is so convenient, we would still recommend the hotel to others. "

"Excellent location and a modern hotel. Some rooms under renovation, but not much of a noise issue. Bedrooms have been redesigned apparently, and now there are no cupboards or drawers not pack away your clothes, no shelving at all, so you just dump. All your gear on the seating and hence a very messy , untidy room. The carpet on our floor apparently is new, but it has large beige ' blotches' everywhere and I actually thought it was sawdust from the carpentry work being done:))))!!!! A strange...
