The location of this property is perfect. It's a 2-3 minute walk to Nyhavn and across the water (less than 10 mins), you have Broens street food already. Despite being close to many things and being in the waterfront, it was very quiet. Our deluxe room had a bay window with supposed views but the building nextdoor had scaffolding that basically blocked the view. But the most special part of this property is the staff. They are all so nice and I believe genuinely so. They were always ready to help with a smile. Most importantly, I didn't realize I left my Kindle until 2 days after checkout when I moved to a sister hotel to join a tour. I called around 9PM and the lady from the front desk knew instantly and she remembered me. We were leaving early the next day and I had a bad migraine that night, so I was just ready to accept that I won't be able to get it, but I took a chance and asked if it's possible for someone to bring it to my hotel that is an 11 min walk away. The lady offered to bring it by on her way home from work, which I was so grateful for! Thankfully because I'm in a partner hotel, the lady worked it out with one of the bell boys to go grab it so he biked there to get it. I appreciate their collaboration!

The front desk staff are a standout for customer service. On checkout the lady helped us convert our small change without us asking, co -ordinated a taxi at a fixed price and even helped carry our bags. I have travelled a lot and am seldom impressed, but on this occasion I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and particulary, the lady who helped us checkout. I wish I had a name, so she could be employee of the month. We highly recommend staying at the Strand when visiting Copenhagen. We will stay again.

Lovely hotel in a brilliant location. Excellent breakfast, clean rooms and helpful staff; would absolutely stay again. The singular gripe I had was there was no air con in the room, which would have been nice.

Good facilities and a small, comfortable room . Location is a convenient 10 minute walk from the Metro although negotiating to cobblestones with bags is challenging.
