"Our stay was great! The room was a good size and modern. It was clean and tidy. The wall mounted shampoo and lotion seemed like a good quality and I appreciate that it was not in the wasteful travel size bottles. Also, the breakfast was really delicious and nicely laid out. Would definitely recommend !"

Even afterwards it never got too cold for the temperature set and after a day it broke again and wasn’t worth calling in again. The happy hour and free snacks was great and no complaints there. Lastly the staff was accommodating especially since I checked in early but they weren’t very approachable. Most hotels I’ve stayed at would greet everyone as they walked in the...

"Beautiful property, comfortable stay, convenient location for visiting Berkeley and SF. Property is very large, printed maps would be nice. Lots of fun for the kids in the pool and courtyard games. "

"Great place to stay! It’s a bit of a maze to get to your room but rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Bed was a little too firm for our liking. Room service comes around early so if you want to sleep in put the DND on the door. Staff is so nice and very helpful! Highly recommend and would stay there again! Prices our great too!!!"
A verified traveler stayed at Handlery Union Square Hotel
"Hotel is in a great location, with onsite parking, however $40 to park for hotel guests per day is excessive in my opinion. The location is great for walking to attractions like Pier 39 and the Alcatraz ferry. Breakfast was amazing with alot of selection! It gets very busy though, so get there early. The only real negative comment is that I had to fight to get them to honor my Expedia VIP benefit for a parking credit, and as of yet, i still have not received a credit back on my Visa. Otherwise this was a great stay!
