The island is quiet and inviting and allowed you to escape the commercialism of some of the bigger areas (Myrtle, OBX). With the more quaint atmosphere you still were able to find fun things to check out and excellent restaurants. The house itself was incredible. "Mary’s property was perfect for our family. A short walk to the beach and wonderful water views from the decks. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a fantastic location and I appreciated how she connected with us and made sure all of the info was easy to access. Mary is a delightful host and we loved her home. "We stayed for Memorial Day weekend and really liked this property. The grounds itself has plenty to do from tennis/pickleball, 2 hot tubs, 3 pools (one indoor), playgrounds, etc. It also has direct beach access and is walkable to a few shops, even to the boardwalk if you don't mind walking a bit. We walked to the circle in the morning to get coffee and a walk on the beach. The property does have some age and little things showed the age, but it was very clean. "This was a cute little condo. It is in an excellent location and we loved the area! Perfect size for our family of 3. The owner was very responsive to communication and resolving issues. When we arrived the bathroom wasn’t very clean (hair, dried soap and dirt in shower, sink and toilet) and areas of the kitchen didn’t look like they had been wiped down. The owner did have a family member come right away to clean it. It still wasn’t as clean as I would prefer. So I did clean the bathroom and...
