The facilities were very clean however, they were very simple as well, almost a commercial feel with the cinder block walls. The HVAC was unruly and only worked sporadically leaving a warm room with high humidity. The distance to the town was acceptable as long as you brought your own vehicle. The grounds were well kept but, it sure would have been nice to enjoy a glass of wine after...

"Our stay at the Grand Hotel La Favorita was so much more than what we could have asked for. It was the perfect spot to explore Sorrento for a few days after a coach tour. "

"We spent 4 nights at the Grand Hotel Due Golfi and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is nicely kept up with very nice ammenities. The hotel staff is excellent, friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The only drawback with the hotel is that the location is not walkable to Sorrento (but they do provide free shuttle service multiple times a day - so as long as your schedule fits with the shuttle all is good) or restaurants. "

"The most amazing view. We stayed two nights in a Junior Room with a beautiful terrace overlooking the valley and the sea. We spent the whole of the second day in our room and watching the boats moving around the bays and going back and forth to Capri. Both nights we had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious. Loved, loved loved our stay!! "
