The woman in the front who helps with bookings secured a last minute reservation at a rooftop directly in front of the duomo. Stunning views and meal. "Great hotel - awesome views, service and pools. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable (we had a family triple) The only criticism is having to pay for water in your room. They should have refillable water which saves wasted bottles. Also, expect to pay €20 to get into town or walk for 20 mins or so. We thought that compromise was worth it for the bigger hotel slightly out of town "

We received a nice gesture of champagne upon arrival which may have been in anticipation of room location challenges. In the morning you can hear furniture moving above. "Everything about our stay at Hotel Poseidon was absolutely incredible. The views of Positano from the terrace are breathtaking. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the restaurant- all were wonderful. What makes this place really special, besides the view and amenities, is the staff. The service is impeccable. Something that wasn’t really advertised well that I thought was great was the transfer to the hotel that they arranged for us. The driver picked us up at the hotel in Naples we were staying at beforehand, and we got a private transfer for a much better price than anywhere else I could find. I don’t have anything bad to say about this hotel and I already can’t wait to return!"
