Puerto Vallarta
"The breakfast is very good . The other meals are expensive and not too good but the overall service is very good . Highly advise having Mexican currency to get cabs in and out of the hotel . "

"Playa Los Arcos is an older but affordable property in an unbeatable location. The property and rooms are showing their age but it is clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. Great location with many restaurants and a short walk to the Malecon. Property also appears to be family friendly. Would recommend if you are looking for a budget conscious vacation in a great location. "

"Hotel is a bit dated compared to the other resorts but very clean. We had a three bedroom/ 2 bath suite which had two rooms without a view and the main bedroom with a balcony and view. Kitchen has everything to prepare meals but we had the all inclusive package and didn’t use it. Living room is spacious with an ocean view balcony as well. A lounger on the balcony would have been nice.
The service is phenomenal!! Staff everywhere is helpful and friendly. We had mo issues getting loungers by the pool but the towel system is very inconvenient to the guests. Guests are required to go to the first pool area for a beach towel with a card you get at check in and have to return the towel to get your card back.
The food is good but not great. Also, it is almost too hot (in May) to sit and eat breakfast at the beachside buffet. The other restaurants were hot as well and it uncomfortable to eat while hot. A suggestion, it would have been helpful to have the calendar of activities before arriving to plan around events we wanted to be at.
Overall, I would stay again and would recommend to friends and family "
