I loved that it was so close to the beach and the beach was gorgeous. It is an older property but the grounds were so clean and the staff were incredible. The buffet breakfast and the Los Arcos snack and taco bar were so delicious. The Spanish ala Carte as well as the Los Arcos aka Carte we’re pretty good and while the buffet wasn’t the best compared to others I’ve seen, we could always find something to eat that we were happy with.

Very beautiful scenery,resort is super clean!! Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Maybe add more food options for breakfast. One evening at one of the restaurants the service was a little too slow. Other nights and restaurants were better. Serve alcohol at the beach!!

It was nice that the property was more remote from PV as it felt like we had our own private beach area and was a quiet location. With that said, it is a decent commute (30-50 minutes) to get into downtown. On our way back to the airport, it took almost 1.5hours because the traffic was so bad getting through PV. The food is average, nothing stellar but that’s mostly expected from an All Inclusive. A bit unfortunate though since local restaurants outside the resort are basically back in town/PV. The room was very lovely and clean, we were pleasantly surprised with how nice it was with a beautiful view from the balcony and comfy king size bed. It was also definitely worth it to purchase the “premium level” that they offer as you get a nicer room, better alcohol, and priority access on resort restaurant reservations. The staff were all very friendly and mostly spoke Spanish but able to speak some English too. There were some options for excursions but all pretty expensive and spread out around the PV area so are usually a full day activity to include commute time. There is free snorkelling and kayaking the resort includes where you just use this around the cove/beach.

Great beach for Puerto Vallarta and very nice hotel! Stayed in the suite and it had an amazing view and a huge room! We didn’t travel with kids, so it was nice they have an adults only pool on the property.

It was nice but not good service by the pool. Buffet food wasn’t good, but restaurants were. Bad wifi, which was very frustrating. It’s also far away from everything.

this is the best resort doesn’t matter if you’re coming for honeymoon or with your family or by yourself. There’s so much to do in the resort that you don’t even need to step out of the resort for other activities. food is delicious drinks everything all inclusive if you choose for. i’m definitely coming back for a Barcello
