"I normally stay in hotels, but for this trip I couldn't find one that worked well in this neighborhood, so I "took a chance" on Chicago Guest House. Winner! This place is on a wonderful residential block in the Wrigley Field area. The unit itself (3rd floor) is a beautifully maintained, charming, three bedroom apartment. The rooms are separated by a good distance, so everyone has some privacy. The living room is bright and features a large TV (for that inevitable down time). The kitchen...

"The staff was very helpful. Quirky Chicago Cubs decor was fun. As a hotel in a city neighborhood, the somewhat unusual procedures for driving up and dropping off, how and where to park,etc were explained well by the front desk. And that desk was manned by a real human all the time. A co-operative arrangement with the public parking garage (almost next door) was very affordable. Fun home base, near Wrigley Field and public transport."

"Everyone was helpful from the outset. I appreciated being able to drop off our luggage when we arrived early, as the staff were still getting our room ready. We ate at a few restaurants in the area and the Belmont L station was a few steps away, which was very convenient."
