"The hotel was fine. It is extremely central to most usual tourist activities and worked really well in that regard. It has a weird entryway that you enter on the ground floor that is not the hotel and you go up a floor or so and then enter the hotel lobby. They have disposable plastic cups further wrapped in plastic instead of real drinking glasses. This was unusual and felt cheap. They have paper cups instead of real coffee cups which is less uncommon. Both of these felt eco unfriendly....

"I was expecting a small room, but this was definitely smaller than I had anticipated. The bathroom in particular was a bit of a tight squeeze. That said, the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and had a gorgeous view. Hard to complain, really."

"Pros: Nice room with appliances, furniture, TV, etc. The area was great and easily walkable to Michigan Avenue. Some of the housekeepers I talked to were really sweet. My room wasn't completely clean when I first checked in (trash in the bin, bar soap in the shower, etc). The breakfast also wasn't very good and there weren't good options for someone with dietary restrictions. I only ate it twice and decided to eat at some of the fabulous brunch places in the area instead. "

"We needed a place to stay downtown for three weeks and this worked out perfectly. From the moment we checked in the staff were attentive and contacted us throughout our stay to find out if we needed anything. We had a one-bedroom suite and while it could definitely use a face-lift, it was clean, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the maid service checked with us every day to see if we needed service, even though it was only scheduled for every other day.
