"Loved the cabin and the setting. Clean and comfortable with amazing forest views. Getting checked in was a bit of a process. Have to call a property manager who drives out to the cabin to let you in. We arrived at check in time and waited almost an hour to be let into the cabin. Call well ahead of arrival time. Otherwise a good stay and a great value."

It was hot in April, so I'm grateful the host supplied fans. There isn't enough hot water for a shower; the hot water runs out after a minute or two."

"Federico was the perfect host. The accommodations was very nice and clean and spa like.The surrounding area was amazing. Breakfast and dinner was available and was very good. Staff were nice and very helpful. Close to Tarcoles Bridge and Carrara National Park. Great opportunity to see birds and monkeys.I would highly recommend. Also the host went above and beyond to assist. I would definitely go back."

"We love this house and location - it’s about an eight minute drive to get to downtown, which is close enough when you need some morning coffee, but far enough to be away from the fray of everything. The cottage was simple, but absolutely perfect for our needs. Three bedrooms with their own AC made for very comfortable evenings. "Lovely setting but on site owner(?) spoke no English only a child did, so difficult to check in and get things settled. No A/c or heat and it was at first hot then very cold later. Hard to sleep in the cold. No screens on windows or sliding doors. Futons to sleep on were dirty and smelly. Kitchen had very few items to make even coffee and breakfast. Would not recommend. Pretty far from Monteverde Biological Park. You can do better."

"We stayed for eight days and immensely enjoyed the experience. We were glad to have a rental car, but you could walk to town if you wanted to, and we did several times. There are some good tourist businesses within a reasonable walk (Sloth trail, Coffee&Chocolate Tour, Pickleball court, Smokehouse restaurant, 2 other restaurants) and we used them all. Great birdwatching from the deck over breakfast. Nice air conditioning and on-site laundry made for a very comfortable time."

From waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys to enjoying a nice afternoon visit with the neighbor’s horse to dinner with a volcano view in the gazebo we had everything we could have asked for and more. "Perfect cabin with wildlife all around you! The cabin was immaculate! The kitchen has everything you need, we went to the grocery store (5 mins walk from the cabin) bought food. Everything we did was a short drive from the cabin, Selvatura park, El Tigre waterfalls, and local Sodas. Miguel is very helpful anytime I called or texted- he answered immediately."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Casa. The outdoor spaces were heavenly, and the bedrooms were nicely spaced out. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Walking distance to some local restaurants. Afternoons at the pool were amazing. Thank you for such a perfect oasis in Uvita! Hope to come back again!"
