“Friendly owner on site who showed us all the plants on his property. Allowed our kids to squeeze sugar cane and make cane juice one morning. Clean and easy property. ”

“Loved the cabin and the setting. Clean and comfortable with amazing forest views. Getting checked in was a bit of a process. Have to call a property manager who drives out to the cabin to let you in. We arrived at check in time and waited almost an hour to be let into the cabin. Call well ahead of arrival time. Otherwise a good stay and a great value.”

“Spent one night at property. Lovely home. Super clean. Comfy bedding. Unique place. Clouds surrounded the home and actually wafted through the living room window. Easy check in/responsive host. Beautiful area.”

“We had an amazing time at La JayDa for the second part of our Costa Rican experience. This house and grounds are beautiful and enchanting. So much so that is was hard to leave for our excursions!! Enjoy the pool and the beauty of the grounds and the comfort of the bedrooms and well equipped kitchen. We took all of our meals outside with many wildlife visitors including monkies, a sloth and wonderful birds. I can not recommend coming to Costa Rica more and when you do definetly stay at La JayDa!!”

“Perfect cabin with wildlife all around you! The cabin was immaculate! The kitchen has everything you need, we went to the grocery store (5 mins walk from the cabin) bought food. Everything we did was a short drive from the cabin, Selvatura park, El Tigre waterfalls, and local Sodas. Miguel is very helpful anytime I called or texted- he answered immediately.”

“Lovely setting but on site owner(?) spoke no English only a child did, so difficult to check in and get things settled. No A/c or heat and it was at first hot then very cold later. Hard to sleep in the cold. No screens on windows or sliding doors. Futons to sleep on were dirty and smelly. Kitchen had very few items to make even coffee and breakfast. Would not recommend. Pretty far from Monteverde Biological Park. You can do better.”

“My husband and I loved our stay here. The property was just as depicted in the photos. Although it is a bit far from the main city, it is easily accessible by car. The check-in process was quick and easy and they helped us find different excursions close to the area. We did encounter an issue with the hot water as well as tours not arriving on time, but it was resolved soon after we reported it! We loved our time here and would definitely stay here again!”

“The house was everything you needed; cozy, quaint, stunning views, gorgeous landscaping and privacy. It accommodated everything we needed, which was surprising because we failed to realize there was no central air, and we have a ln 11 month old, but the area we were in stayed relatively cool, and even better at night (nice & cool) and they provided multiple fans to circulate the air. We were never uncomfortable. It was truly a treat for my son and husband who had so much fun checking out the……
