"Despite having on a braclet to identify me as a guest, I was asked over and over if i was staying in the hotel. there is a gate that closes the property around 9pm. The security guard was slow to respond to my request to open the gate. She was surly when she did finally open it. I was again asked if I was a guest. As a solo female traveler, i was upset that I couldnt gain access in a timely fashion. There are hardly any people on the street during the week. So there was a potential for danger. I...

"The property was personal and unique - focused around a natural environment. The great thing about this property is that it’s situated in the heart of Tulum. Everything is walking distance from this place. Also the property offers ocean access and bicycle rental if available. The best way to see to Tulum is on cycles. The rooms are spacious and the showers were amazing. Great customer service by the front desk staff. I plan to return to this property."

"The hotel itself was decent. We only booked for 1 day stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We arrived at 12:30 but check in time was 3pm so we did wait for about 45mins to get into our room. The area around the hotel seems as though it’s a developing area, it was pretty dirty and seems like it was a local community, with loose dogs running around. The room overall was nice and clean despite the shower. The chrome in the shower head and sink were eroded and rusty. I tried to clean it...
