"Our stay at the Van Der Valk was fine. It is too far from the inner city so travel expenses were higher. My only complaint was that me and my friend took an $100 baking class and the staff threw it away when they cleaned our room. The food was in a bag on top of our table no where near the trash. The staff did NOTHING to help solve this, even though they told me they would contact me. "Fine hotel, undergoing renovations. Not a bother and saw no construction or workers. Only one problem was the heating/cooling system, was listening to the fan all night and woke me several times. I would recommend they put an instruction on how to turn it off.
