"Eclectic hotel consisting of many different buildings, with a nice inner garden area. Our room was noisy, as it was in a major pathway area and had stairs inside the room. Lots of trip hazards at thresholds. Be aware most European hotels don't have stand alone showers, which requires you to climb into a rather high tub to take a shower..not many grab handles for securing. "Great hotel, wonderful staff! We got there very early and our check-in was at 3. They did offer a different room, at the same price. But we had reserved a canal view room with a balcony and decided to wait. It was worth waiting for. Nice and quiet, with an amazing water view. We were there for King's Day ( not on purpose). There were about 1,000 people out front with a great DJ. The whole city is in party mode. It was fine, but glad our room room was along the river in back."
