"My husband and I stayed for the weekend to visit our daughter who lives in Hillcrest. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, cost was a little pricey but worth it. If you are one of their gold members it’s free, but we are not so we paid 25 a person. All good. Will stay again in future. "

"This hotel is a hidden gem in the San Diego hotel circle. I've stayed at many hotels in San Diego area over the years and this is one of the best. What i saw of the hotel itself it's been recently updated or well kept. The lobby was nice and spacious. The pool was small but it was heated and was never crowded. The free breakfast was one of the best I've experienced and they had a "reception" on a couple weekday nights with free beer and wine as well as food. The one night we went to it they had...

Got “someone will get that cleared for you shortly.” Finally our waiter begrudgingly cleared it after 20 minutes of waiting. It was late pm and not crowded. Maybe you need a more team oriented approach. Not my job seemed to be a theme. Also our Tv in room 1231 had permanent lines on The screen. "
