"Lisboa Pessoa Hotel is a wonderful hotel, in the heart of the city, in the Baixo-Chiado district with walkable access to all the major attractions and excellent restaurants. The hotel has a roof top restaurant and bar with wonderful views of the city and castle. The buffet breakfast was exceptional and you get two complimentary well come drinks at the bar. All staff at the hotel were friendly and extremely helpful, both at the reception counter and in the restaurant. There were TWO staff members who stood out for us during our four nights stay at the hotel- they were Katielle Martins and Yasoja Ekanayake. They were both very polite with oodles of patience! Thanks to their help and advice, we were able to visit all major attractions and restaurants walking. As it is a city hotel, the room we were given was quite small. at the street level (005) with one small window. However, the bed and pillows were very comfortable providing a good nights sleep and a free minibar that keeps getting replenished daily, amply compensates for the size of the room! If we visit Lisbon again, we know exactly where we will be staying!! "

"We had a lovely stay. Our room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. It’s conveniently located near lots of good restaurants and the main tourist neighbourhoods in the old city. It’s up a hill though, so be prepared if you are lugging luggage on the subway from the airport or have mobility issues - but it was fine for us. A little noisy from street noise on the Saturday night with lots of partying nearby, but all of the other nights were peaceful. We’d definitely stay there again. The rooftop bar has lovely views too!"
