"The Pestana Rua Augusta treated us so wonderfully on our 2-night stay during our honeymoon. Upgraded room, congratulatory champagne and chocolate covered strawberries—we were so happy! This location is centrally located and walkable to most spots in the city. For those spots outside of the neighborhood, it is easy to access both the Metro, buses, and trams. We would not hesitate to stay here the next time we visit Lisbon. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful."

"This is a good hostel, however the check in process was complicated. There is no front desk or anyone working in the actual building that can help you check in, and they text you the access instructions via WhatsApp without informing you that you need to get that app. Therefore, make sure you get WhatsApp several days before arriving and make sure that you have the building/ room access codes before you get there! Additionally, there is a Lisbon Calling hotel in same building just one floor...
