"Location is the highlight of this Gualala studio. The stairs faded quickly into the spectacular views. This is a special retreat from the ordinary. Miren is a fantastic host, her knowledge of the area, attention to detail & warm hospitality all a highlight of our stay. We spent 3 nights & explored nearby, but the Anchor Bay beach below this studio makes this location a place of pure contentment, no need to roam. We hope to return."

"Directions clear, excellent manual which we referred to at times. We enjoyed both the home, yard and sound of the waves as well as the town. Walked to town on numerous occasions. Spent two days at Gualala Point Park—could not get enough of the outdoors there."

"Our stay was heaven on earth. The views were phenomenal. We spent many hours watching the seals across the bay and the flocks of birds swooping past the house and listening to the waves. We had everything we needed to cook our meals in the well-appointed kitchen. The bedding was very comfortable. We took some gorgeous hikes to see wildflowers galore. This was our second visit and we hope to have many more!"

"What a treasure of a find! Communication and check in were easy, the house was clean and exceptionally well-stocked, and the views were stunning. This is probably one of the best-stocked homes we’ve ever rented- it seems the owners really did try to think of anything a guest could need or want and then provide it. Nice cookware, lots of spices, and every way you can think of to make coffee, tea, or adult beverages. We loved looking at the ocean in the morning and watching the birds fly by....

"Loved this place. Was super clean and beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked (though spice cupboard could use a cleaning). The parking was easy and the location was very central to Gualala. But THE VIEW is the reason you stay here. It’s amazing. And the super clean hot tub on the deck watching the sunset is perfection. My only caveat that I would mention for others is that it’s not in a great walking area ( unless you want to walk to town). But all in all a gem of a home and would...

"My husband and I stayed at the cottage for my birthday and we had an amazing time. The view is hands down the best part. The hot tub is so relaxing and the privacy is perfect. We listened to the waves and birds as we enjoyed the deck area. We will probably bring our own pillows next time because these were quite flat, but nothing to stop me from coming back!"

"Our family had a great stay in an amazing area, it was a wet and rainy weekend but we still were able to enjoy ourselves with a relaxing weekend in an enjoyable place that was spacious, accommodating and beautiful. The shared living area made it great for family game nights, nice views from the kitchen to enjoy our morning coffee and a cozy fireplace for and evening wine and the topper was being able to relax in the hot tub! Would definitely recommend"
