"We were told that no two rooms were identical. There are three or four discrete structures, each with its own character and set of rooms. We were upgraded to a suite at no additional charge. The selection of furniture and fabrics were spot on and authentic in feel. The decor is not Shabby Chic-filtered Southwest kitsch. The encountered staff were congenial and helpful. The breakfast spread was varied and ranged from the savory to the sweet. For the price this was as great a bargain as I have encountered in my domestic travels."

"A short walk to the plaza it’s right in the middle of downtown. Older property with lots of charm. Restaurants are excellent. Hotel has a great vibe. Only complaint is the pool area lacks enough umbrellas and the water is too cold. They need to invest in a pool heater as no one uses the pool. Also that would allow the pool to be used in the spring and fall. Would stay here again to get the full Santa Fe experience. "

"The property was well situated and in close proximity to the Santa Fe square and just across the street from the newer railroad development area. A perfect location for shopping, eating and walking to se the sights. The smallish continental breakfast was perfect to start the day and the complimentary evening social hour was equally perfect for snacking and drinking prior to dinner. "
