"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Panthea Villa. The villa is very modern, spacious and tasteful. The views of Chania and the sea are fantastic, especially from the infinity pool. The owner George is extremely kind and helpful. My only comments are that the photos before arrival implied we would have access to the basement (you do not), that the wifi was not great (but the 4G was fine) and that there is no warning that you cannot flush toilet paper. Otherwise, a wonderful place."

"It really was like being in a Greek home. The few things we needed were attended to quickly. We ran out of coffee which is graciously provided, and voila they went and got us more! They provided needed extras like olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper and sugar making cooking easy. It is a perfect neighborhood for exploring Chania and the rest of Crete as well. "A very enjoyable week in Chania and the Sansal Boutique hotel. Hotel is about 3 minutes walk from the old town waterfront so is ideally located. Some parking is available at the hotel but probably not enough spaces if every guest has a car but there was only one night we couldn’t get a space and there is plenty of free street parking around the hotel. Very friendly staff, in particular Anna Maria on reception and Kostas and Zoe serving breakfast. Hotel has a pool on the roof - probably not...
