The bathroom was open to the bedroom - a curtain or something like a pocket door would have helped that. - We normally at B&Bs love to eat in a dining area where we can visit and get to know other people staying at the inn. "These are cute rock cottages which afford privacy. The communication with the host was excellent. The interior was pretty tired and furnished with kitschy garage sale type furniture. It had a jacuzzi tub which also served as a shower-with an 18 inch entry and slippery tub, it's definitely a slip and fall risk. It comes with breakfast every day at a local restaurant which was excellent. If the owner did some updates, they could charge more, but it was a fair value for the price. "

"Coltan was an excellent host and suggested wonderful dining options and activities to consider. My husband and I stayed in the cottage and it was charming and accommodated all of our needs. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Peabody House to anyone and will absolute stay there again in the future!!"

"Darren, the homeowner and innkeeper, met us at the door to this lovely home/inn. He welcomed us with a smile and conversation about the history behind Sassafras Inn and Mena, We sat and visited for about an hour. Our suite was extremely large, (2 rooms), complete with coffee and refrigerator. He then provided us with his homemade, organic blueberry muffins that were to die for. Very cozy atmosphere and a soft bed was just the remedy for a long day in the road. Highly recommend this wonderful...

"Pros: Amazing AC & refrigerator that kept things really cold! Super clean! Furthest walking distance was 10 minutes to restaurants & shops. Owners were very nice & helpful. The property had snacks & coffee pods. The shower never ran out of hot water & had plenty of pressure. Plenty of light in the room & bathroom. Cons: There’s not a place to hang your clothes. There’s not a little table to put items on other than two little night stands. We would definitely stay at this property again!"

"This was our first time staying at an inn and it was wonderful. The inn is beautiful and so relaxing. I loved the real breakfast they served that kept us full almost until dinner time. There were so many little things like chocolate on the bed and an ice cold pitcher of water waiting in the room for it that just made it even better. I would definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area. "
