“We had a great time here! The few negatives: the bed was really hard (but it was nice to have a king size bed), the room was cooled by an old school ac unit, which was loud, and kicked on and off, and the room was very dated and not very sound proof. I heard the birds early in the morning, very clearly. HOWEVER, I know they're slowly renovating the rooms so I'm giving allowance for that. The staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was really fun with the fire pit and the bar……

“We elected this remote cabin in Arkansas for our summary get away with family and friends. The cabin is situated between two streams looking out at a beautiful lake. It takes about 10 minutes from the main gate to travel on the graded road that winds around, and up and down (both vehicles, 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive, did fine even with the rain showers). The owner allowed us to charge our Tesla, too! There was plenty of room for the seven of us especially with 3 bathrooms (one on each floor). We……

“The property grounds are well taken care of. Check-in process was easy. You will need to bring all toiletries, toilet paper, detergents, soap etc. The brakers constantly tripped in the kitchen and throughout the house so making food, coffee, charging items was made difficult. We unfortunately had to use one of the recreational spaces to make our toast and coffee for breakfast. Dinner one night took about two hours and a half hours because of the electrical issues. “We came to see the solar eclipse and were lucky enough to find this gem! Three families stayed at the lodge and there was plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable, plenty if firewood for several nights of fireside chats, and lots of fun fishing at the ponds. Chris was a wonderful host! If there’s ever a reason for us to come back to this area, we would definitely want to stay here!”

“Wonderful location out in the woods! The kitchen had all the dishes we needed to do our cooking, and there were plenty of towels available. The host/hostess was very responsive to my questions, and provided me the door key as soon as I requested it. The inside is very well decorated and taken care of. We really enjoyed having the pool table and long kitchen table for family interaction. Note that aside from outdoors and the kitchen table, there is not really a place for everyone to gather around……
