"We booked this hotel for a one night stay in January. We arrived to find they had apparently gone out of business several months ago. I had a talk with an assistant via the chat facility on the app, where he informed me I wasn't entitled to a refund as it stated this on the confirmation email. I could accept this if I had cancelled, but the fact that hotels.com took my booking in the first place surely means they are legally required to provide a full refund? Great place to stay.
"Great stay with the family. The kids loved the pool and had a room of their own room which really helped in the evening. We all had a really good sleep and breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was perfectly located for our needs. The room decor was a little tired and the basin tap had seen better days, but overall the room was clean and bright and comfortable with not musty smells."
