"Great choice! We flew in from Oakland, and caught BART from the airport to San Francisco. The hotel was walking distance from the Powell St BART station, and to the trolly. The location was excellent, as we were able to walk to several eateries, and were only 1 block from the hop-on-hop-off bus stop. If you don't mind walking, China town and little Italy aren't far away. The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel was wuite peaceful. The staff was kind and very accommodating. "we used this property for an airport over night trip. Staff is friendly and helpful. Dated hotel but overall a good value. Airport shuttle was convenient however only departs on the hour beginning at 0600."

"Located in midst of the Tenderloin, this hotel provides a covenient, relatively low-cost alternative to other hotels located nearby. The room nicely accomodated a family of 5 and we walked everywhere during our 2-night stay, even though we had a car. I must say free, onsite parking was a bonus. Lacking is a microwave and coffee machine."
