"The hotel is excellent. Perfectly placed in DC and very comfortable. Eye-watering prices of cocktails in the bar, but otherwise a superb experience. "

"The room was spacious and comfortable. Slept like a baby after working all day just down the street. The front desk was more than happy to help us obtain taxi pickups and help any other time we needed something small. Would definitely return."
"We returned after many years to this historic property to find it had aged well. Staff are polite and competent. Rooms are large and walls are thick. We had a nice view of Rock Creek Park. On Connecticut Avenue, steps from the hotel, there are a number of excellent restaurants, a CVS, and a good liquor store."
