"My son and I visited Chicago and this was the first time we stayed at L7, which we understand recently went through a rebranding and renovation. The decor was very nice and the staff are great. "It was a fun whimsical place in a stunning historic building. I felt quite at home and loved having seltzer water in the water dispenser! The only downside was the restaurant, Atwood. We had breakfast at 10 AM on a Saturday, the waiter took our order and then disappeared for 30 minutes on an unannounced break with no coverage. We had to get up and ask the manager for things like butter for the toast and the check. Maybe better break communication?"
