My husband and i enjoyed our visit. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a quick check in and out. Fiesta night was yummy. One of our dinner reservations on the beachside was alittle sad. The buffet food was better. The sky bar had an amazing sunset view,great drinks,and staff as well. Location was perfect for us. Walking distance to Malecon, and local restaurants and shops. Not a long drive from airport as well. Our room was a perfect size. I do wish it didnt have a huge gap under the door. May have kept the cool air in better. So we placed a towel to avoid our cool air out. We also had a spa day. Very respectful staff.Overall great place to stay.

Stay away from this property. To begin, the time share people are persistent and do not leave you alone after a simple no. The room had cockroaches. The food options were terrible and the restaurants were reservation only. The pools were very small and the beach is not walkable and full of rocks. There was loud construction everyday. The service was awful with only one person walking around. We left several items in our room and came back after check out to get them back and the security and management was so unprofessional and no help. The cleaning people stole our items and they claimed nothing was found in the room. Stay away!

Excellent service!!! The staff was friendly, welcoming, & professional. JORGE took great care of us poolside, the drinks kept on coming (I didn’t have to hunt him down ;) The food was fresh and delicious. We loved the variety of food options offered between the restaurant, buffet, & snacks at the pool. We will be back ;)

They offer time sharing from start and we refuse so everything was different because we were not member . The food was very bad. We ate out most of the meals.It was close to the shops and restaurants but around hotel was very dirty. Also very loud noise of constant construction . Not recommending this resort at all.

This was our second time to Puerto Valera. The hotel was clean and staff were curious. In other hand the food was not good, they try to offer you better food for extra charge. Right at first they try to schedule us for time sharing show. Since we refuse their attitude change. Every drink , food , even shade cost extra. Very busy location , constant construction noise but was in middle of town, so close to shop and restaurant.we are out most of our meal. Also the ocean was so filthy and black. Not recommending this resort.
