Rustic Cabin on Penobscot River (Pet-Friendly!)
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, 26 reviews
"It was a bit too close to a main road so road noise could be heard, particularly when sitting on the porch. There is no handrail up to the bedroom and the steps are rather steep and dark...not a good set up for older patrons or those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and a nice area to easily walk the dogs outside. The setting is very pretty on a river and canoes and kayaks are available to use."

We had an amazing time and wished we could stay longer, my kids didn't want to leave. I 100% recommend and we will be booking again."

Lakefront cabin with woodstove, beautiful mountain views & private swimming dock
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, 41 reviews
"Beautiful little cabin in a lovely secluded location. Clean, comfortable, extremely quiet. The only issue we found is - the hot water heater is horribly undersized. Any more than one 10-min shower and you’ll be taking a COLD shower! Lovely retreat for a couple, but a shower together? Out of the question! My wife and I took AM/PM shifts on the 2nd day after it took my breath away on day 1."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Authentic vintage experience! Off course, if your are looking for a neet and sophisticate lodding, it might not be the place for you… but it was perfect for us! Very well located, near a private beach with 2 kayaks and chairs for our convinience. Also very near to the action of Boothbay Harbor that was a nice discorery! The cabin is very confortable, with everything we needed to prepare a nice meal and relax at anytime of the day. The only thing that...

Huttopia Southern Maine
2.5 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, 27 reviews
"I like the vibe huttopia is going for and it’s an absolute family friendly gem, however our hit carpet was extremely dirty, the door didn’t close off completely which let inall the bugs overnight , our tent also had an area the zipper was completely broken which gave more room for allCreatures to comeIn. I stuffed it with a towel to make due . The lighting paths could be better to the huts at night. Love the vibe and what they tried to do , but we will not be going back. "
