We really enjoyed our stay here. We loved Cecilio and Luigi at archery and the bike tour, they are absolute gems and some of the best experiences we had. The bike tour was our favorite activity. There is a ton of walking back and forth on the property, we're a very active family but it's a lot of walking to and from and from and becomes tedious when you just want to relax. The buffet wasn't great and most of the food was bland, but the restaurants were excellent. The pools are gorgeous and the kids loved the lazy river. The biggest downside to our trip was attending their "time share" presentation. They refer to it as their ultimate luxury club but it's just like any time share presentation. It was absolutely horrible, we felt not only pressured but felt like we had gotten staff in trouble when we clearly stated repeatedly we were not interested. It was a very uncomfortable situation feeling like you're getting staff in trouble who have been nothing but kind to you, because you're not interested in spending $5-30k for a vacation package. Whatever you do avoid this at all costs. The property is being renovated which didn't bother us at all, but it was perfect at half capacity. We would most likely go back again.

Service was lackluster at best. There were a few individuals that were great like the bellboy and some servers but for the most part the check in and most other service personnel were rude or unwilling to help. The facility does not offer the activities and amenities you’d expect but to their defense they are doing some construction. The beach is deserted since there is nothing but rocks and seaweed. They tried to cut the pool to close at 6pm when it actually closes at 7pm which is still early. The buffet is good but the restaurants are super hard to reserve even though they are empty. The first restaurant we were finally able to reserve took a hour to get us our food and then another 45 minutes for desert. Many other tables left unsatisfied. This is not the service you expect to get.

The Grand Sirenis Staff did an incredible job at making us feel welcomed from the very beginning! Diana, Ricardo, Ivan, Axel and Fernando all took excellent care of every need. The bartenders were excellent, the food was great and the the entire premises were clean and well taken care of!

Customer service was great, pool, lazy river and beach were also very nice. However the resort is very dated and needs to be upgraded. The hot tub in our room was yellow, shower was old and moldy same as the toilette. AC need to be fixed and food was not the best. Ivan the manager was very helpfully and nice.

First time booking on Expedia. The resort was great and Ivan our host was incredible! He made sure the experience was great and we were taken care of the whole trip. 10/10 for Ivan and the resort and would book again. Hotel was clean and staff were great.

LOTS and LOTS of walking nothing is close by to anything. The A/C hardly work lots of sleepless nights and my husband suffered from horrible heat rash, they said maintenance came to fix it. The smell around the bar areas was nauseating, staff was nice enough not overly friendly. Had a walk out on our last night our waiter poured us water and told us he’d be back and never showed up. Food was super bland(and I’m a very picky eater) and the buffet did not have a huge selection. Left a bad taste for México and this resort.

Overall we had a nice stay but were very disappointed with the limited availability of the al a carte restaurants. Our first day we tried to make a reservation and were told it was full and couldn’t get in until our third night and had only 5:45PM available for the remaining nights of our stay. It wasn’t until we complained a few days in to the front desk and manager that they gave us better times and for us in to the preferred restaurants. The rooms were nice and cleaned daily. Spa was a nice experience. Overall food has lots of options and is ok. Tried to participate in a few activities like archery and Pilates but the days we tried they were only for members so be cautious of that. The beach is small and not all walkable. We enjoyed taking the walking path to the lagoon but not many people knew about it when we asked. Ask the concierge in the front lobby about it. They’ll explain how to get there.

Overall our experience was great and we enjoyed the resort. My husband and I both agree we would return. Some of the things I liked was the beach, the sky bar, and the food options. The beach is beautiful and there was great places to swim and a little cove with a wave break to view tropical fish. There was a lot of seaweed due to the time of year and they did a great job of keeping it contained with barriers and and picked up. We enjoyed the sky bar every evening and the entertainment. It was well appointed and had a nice breeze from the ocean. The food was better than most all inclusives and selection was good. A buffet is a buffet but they had multiple stations set up for custom orders. The staff was amazing and accommodating. A couple of things we didnt enjoy were the pool, staging area for transportand and lack of drink selection. The water temperature at the pool was very warm and there was no way to get cooled off. I do realize it was very hot while we were visting 95F most days and we had a hard time cooling off even in the shade. Getting in the pool was like getting in a warm bath. They could definitely use a misting system or a cold plunge pool. The staging area for pick up and drop off was a little chaotic and ther no seating or shade while waiting for your pick up. The lobby seating was to far to hear your driver call for you. There was a lot of people and luggage waiting around for their driver. Our ride was 30 minutes late so I probably found it more irritating

If I could give this place negative stars I would! I have no idea where to start. This has been the only resort I have been to where the staff wasn't accommodating, they weren't attentive, at every bar I went to there was only one person working it so it took forever to get a drink, then they were out of a bunch of stuff when you went to order, when you were sitting around the pool and beach there was no staff to come take orders so of course the bars were packed! My room was a mess, I had ants and roaches and I even called to inform the staff, and NOTHING was done about it I called the front desk, I called concierge, and cleaning service no one came to clean or even offer a different room, I was there with my 2 year old and I was afraid to sleep! The soaking tub was disgusting, and the shower was also disgusting. The AC in my room wasn't working and it was 90 degrees outside I also called to complain about that, and nothing was done or offered for that. Like I had stated before I went with my 2 year old and this place advertised on their website that kids pool area big splash pad and basically catered to kids, NONE OF THAT IS TRUE! The pool area was closed for construction, which wasn't mentioned on the website while booking this was the ONLY reason I booked this place.

Had a blast during our stay in May 2024. It was a quiet week, which allowed us to enjoy the resort in full. Loved the Beach, the nature all around and in the resort, the lazy river, the coffee and juice bars, and the taco bar! Our drinks were on point and we had a private dinner, which was amazing food and service. The bartenders were not always the friendless... and sometimes we had to wait for services- BUT our conceirge was amazing and super friendly /fun and helpful (shoutout to Issac!) The food at the buffet and a la carte's were okay overall. We did a spa afternoon and it was well worth it, and food was amazing there! The furniture and light fixtures are such a vibe- love the decor. I didnt love that they have dolphins... definitely did not support that My sister and I had a great time overall, and look forward to coming back to see the new changes and enjoying this unique resort!

Grand Sirenis is a dream come true, and feels like home away from home. I am so glad we chose to stay at this resort. From the safety of the guests, to the access to shuttles and amenities, comfortability of the beds, great entertainment, ease of booking amazing excursions, friendly staff, bilingual ability, great drinks, even better food, etc. I was so sad to leave. Hoping to come back at the next available chance. We loved it, and highly recommend if you’re looking for your own dream come true in Mexico, you’ll book at this resort.
