“Very cute, modest B&B. Wonderful views from the common deck off the lobby and breakfast is tasty. Rooms are on the small side, but clean and comfortable. Would stay here again. ”

“We loved it here. This was the last stop before we were heading back home so we just needed a place to stay for 2 nights. Unexpectedly my favourite accommodation of our entire trip. Host was very kind and helpful, he designed the entire place himself. You can tell he put a lot of thought and care into the place. Close proximity to the airport, AC was working, fast wifi, water pressure in the sink and shower were great. They had 2 parking spots but we were able to park on the street and it always……

“Mountain Faro is a simple, clean, and well-located property, with a good breakfast included. Yes it is up a hill, but you are in Monte Verde and everything is up or down a hill. The staff, led by Lady, are lovely, welcoming, and so helpful - including recommending restaurants, helping to arrange tours, and arranging transport as needed (for tours, or if you just don't want to walk the hills). I highly recommend it.”

“Vacationed here for a short honeymoon stay. Great property. However, take into consideration that the property is a 3-hour drive from the airport and the hotel does not provide transportation (costs an additional $USD200 for private transportation from the airport). Daily breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very kind and accommodating. ”

“Communication was great. Coming in after hours, it was easy to find and follow the instructions to get into the room. Air conditioning was so-so, but did the job! The room had a fan also. So it was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! So good! Great place to stay for the night if you need to be by the airport.”

“The staff warned us multiple times about the late night noise from the disco next door (even when we checked in) but we liked the place so much we stayed an extra night anyway. Two members of staff also bent over backwards to help us get on the road when we discovered our rented car had a flat battery. ”
