"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Williamsburg Sampler B & B. The accommodations were lovely - cozy and inviting decor with several different seating areas for guests downstairs to relax outside of their rooms in addition to a open and large kitchen - dining area. The rooms themselves were comfortable and well appointed. The Breakfasts were suburb! Stephanie, the B & B hostess out-did herself with her hospitality. Pluses included that Colonial Williamsburg and a variety of restaurants...

"I would happily stay here again! Alex, the owner, served breakfast each day and chats with people. Leroy, the manager, is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. You couldn’t pick a better location in Williamsburg to be close to W&M or Colonial Williamsburg. Parking is behind the building and it was easy to get in and out. The area is quiet at night and very safe. I had high expectations when I booked my stay here and they were exceeded! Everything you’d expect and want from a B&B."

"Great location and stay. Beautifully decorated inn. First day breakfast was outstanding but second day was a bit more average quality. Fruits and eggs from premises. Bed was very high 4 poster and required stairs for me to get in so a bit nervous on safety but very comfortable for sleeping. Snacks and beverages in kitchen with excellent coffee machine. Overall, we would stay at this location again. "

"I stayed in the South Guest House. The hotel was beautiful, the people are friendly, and the resturant is actually very good. The only issue I would have is that in the South Guest House sound carries throughout the rooms. Part of that is because they have beautiful old hardwood floors that creak when people walk. But even the sound of morning alarms and the tv is pretty audible through the walls. If you are a light sleeper, the South Guest House might not be for you. Otherwise it is lovely. The...
