"Can’t rave enough about the accommodations at Stella’s Hideaway! Everything was well stocked, clean and comfortable beds. The views were great, the rocks were even better! The location was perfect for checking out mine tailings and heading up to copper harbor. Calumet has a really tasty coffee shop and cute stores. "My siblings and our spouses were in town for a family reunion and had a really delightful stay. We loved the house and its gorgeous original details; the location is close to everything we needed (we especially recommend Keweenaw Coffee Works and the Keweenaw Heritage Center); and Jill, our host, was friendly and responsive. Overall we had everything we needed in a fantastic space, and would definitely stay here again!"

"Had a great time but a long way to travel and not know what house was mine to stay in. Glad cleaning people showed up or i would been sleeping in my car. They have serval house on property let that person now what house theirs staying i with the correct door code."

Here are some concerns we had. 1. Limited dinnerware and utensils. Bring extra plates for family bigger than 4. 2. The master bedroom on the first floor had spackle all over the walls that were not shown in the photos. It's not too big of a deal, but it appears that the finishing work was halted. "The Copper Jewel is a wonderful property with character, charm and plenty of space. And Pam is a rockstar! We had the whole home to ourselves (3 couples) but were fortunate to have our host (Pam) prepare a bountiful breakfast each morning and entertain us with stories of Calumet and copper country - including the 100-year old Jewel (home). The sauna was a hit as was the easy access (walking) to the bars, restaurants and shops of downtown Calumet. Love this place and look forward to returning...
