Pool/Gym/Hot Tub: Busy pool after ski, gym always easy. Bar / Billiards: Very nice bar area. Overall, one of the best hotels in Val d'Isere. Doubt there are better."

"We are a family of four, with two college-age children, and had a wonderful stay at the Samovar. We stayed in one of the family rooms, which was perfect for us (with two beds in a spacious upstairs loft). The hotel is perfectly located -- literally across the street from the Dailles gondola (and only about a block from the funicular to the summit). There are a couple of restaurants nearby, including a great Savoyarde spot across the street. There is a regular shuttle bus to the main village of...

"Apartment basic and functional. Nice balcony. Ski lockers but not boot warmers. Great location. Stay cut short due to covid19 as hotel closed up after two nights. "
