The Pampered Pelican (formerly Stardust Cottage) is a ground-level cottage located on Jones Avenue and is close to several other Mermaid Cottages (rent several for large family vacations!) as well as just a few blocks from the beach. Adorable Sandy Toes is just across the street!
The Pampered Pelican has been newly renovated and guests will enjoy the wonderful screened porch and back deck with fully fenced-in yard for our Furmaids, as well as all new furnishings inside! There are 3 adorable, beachy bedrooms all with queen beds (all 3 bedrooms have TVs!) and a wonderful large living/dining/kitchen area with plenty of seating, TV and a large, fully equipped kitchen with new stainless steel appliances!
Enjoy your complimentary sample of Mermaid Morning Bliss coffee; a special perk for all Mermaid Cottages guests!
PLUS, The Pampered Pelican is pet-friendly so you don't have to leave your furry family at home; bring them with you!

Nice place!
The house is well stocked - it had everything we needed. It was nicely decorated and clean. The fenced in back yard and screened in porch was perfect for our little dog. My girls and their friends enjoyed riding bikes to the beach, restaurants, the pier and to get ice cream. Tammy at Mermaid Cottages checked in several times and made sure we had everything we needed - even a few additional chairs for the kitchen. Very nice get away!

PERFECT Stay in Tybee
We absolutely LOVED our stay here! Every amenity we needed was readily available (including a pizza cuter which is a small but very useful thing!). 5 min walk to the beach, awesome backyard and the screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee. Would definitely stay here again

Comfortable, clean and a couple blocks from the ocean!
We had a wonderful stay at The Pampered Pelican. The house was clean and inviting and had plenty of room for our family of 5 (and two dogs). We attended a swim meet in Savannah and this house was a great place for our family to rest between sessions. We didn't go to the beach as much as we would've liked, but when we did it was only a few blocks away. The property manager (Tammy) was in constant communication throughout the weekend and ensured we were happy. We even forgot a swimsuit and she quickly arranged to have it shipped to us. We'll definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Stardust Cottage
The home was in excellent condition and was very inviting when we arrived. They even left my husband and I a bottle of champagne for our anniversary! It was a great location with just a short walk to the beach. Customer service was exceptional as they called to make sure we were ready for our arrival and to make sure we got in ok. Very responsive to questions. Would definitely return to this property!

Perfect Vacation at Stardust Cottage
Our family had such a wonderful week in Tybee Island, staying at the Stardust Cottage. The location of the cottage was quite perfect - as first-time Tybee visitors, we weren't quite sure what the lay of the land would be... The cottage was located in mid-beach, which was in the middle of the island, and only a short walk to the beach (I do recommend having a wagon to transport beach items to the beach). The beach was beautiful and the town as a whole was quiet and peaceful, and much less crowded than some of the beaches we are used to visiting (though we did come after labor day). The cottage was clean and quaint, and our family/friends had just enough space to be comfortable. It was also so nice to be able to have our fur baby with us, and took away the stress of having to find boarding. We would absolutely recommend this space to any one looking for a Tybee Island getaway.

Wonderful cottage!
We were excited when we chose the Stardust Cottage from the listing and were not let down when we arrived. Home is beautifully done with obvious thought given to the needs of guests. We were in need of nothing but more time to stay. The management team was wonderful, even checked on us during our stay. We will be back!

Home away from Home
The fenced in yard was perfect for our german shepherd. The house had everything we could have ever needed including dog bowls. Despite the other reviews the starter kits they give made it through the entire 5 days we were there. Property management was quick to respond with any questions and checked in from time to time. Walking to the beach at 7th street was under 10 minutes and closer to 5 most of the time. Overall we loved the rental

We really enjoyed this home. It was very clean and we loved that we were able to bring our dog. It is so unfortunate that dogs aren’t allowed on the Tybee beach. 3 out of 4 of us were stung by jellyfish as well. Other than that it was a great escape.
