Find the perfect oasis for a family or a small group of friends at this beautiful home in St. Simons, a gorgeous garden property that sits around the corner from the beach. Cool off from the summer sun in the private, enclosed yard, where you can relax in the small dipping pool and attached cascading pool spa. As the children play in the garden and come up with new adventures in the treehouse, the adults can prepare memorable meals in the chef's kitchen, recently renovated with new appliances, cabinets, counters, and flooring, before gathering around the fireplace for games and movies. At night, you'll also be treated to brand new mattresses on the three king beds. The primary bedroom has a Smart TV.

Great location and great for big family!
Location is so close to beach! Clean with a large living room area. Kitchen is large and great for cooking!! Loved the big window that opens to pool. Hot tub and pool were amazing for a big crowd. Our only issue was hot tub and pool were cold for two days even though we paid for heat. Great vacation!

We easily fit 2 families into the house, great sleeping arrangements. We enjoyed the kitchen and living space, but exposed outlets, broken widow’s nest with no access (though it looked like it would have been amazing), promise of a heated pool in January but having nothing, and missing windows, tv remotes, and backyard issues (shade lining was covered in debri, playhouse covered in moss) just left us wishing we could have enjoyed what was promised to us more.

Great Space! Great Location!
Wonderful property. Plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and 6 kids (ages 2 thru 15). 1 block from terrific beach access. Less than ¾ miles in either direction from fantastic food/brewery/shops. We stayed Friday to Friday around Memorial Day and only wish we had booked more time. The house is older but really well organized and ridiculously clean. It could use a few minor updates, shower heads specifically. The heated hot tub/pool was perfect for our group with cooler weather still lingering. The decking, fans and lighting around the pool all need some work. But I believe the property manager is aware and trying to make improvements. We loved the property and wouldn't hesitate to spend another week there!

Very disappointed. Run down. Many non working or broken things. Yard was totally neglected.
No response from Vacasa or Host the whole week we where there. I’ve spoken to a manger and sent pictures hoping for a refund.

The house was as advertised, lots of room. The kitchen is awesome. The house is close to the beach, you can walk to the beach in a few minutes. We, as a group, 7 of us. would stay here again.

Quaint house-fab location
Adorable house w/coffee house vibes. If you love & are used to older, quirky houses- you will love. Very cozy. Love the decor & stained glass. Great great location! Pool heating & cleanliness(pool only) was an issue, but obviously not a problem in summer. Vacasa did the very best they could with what they had to deal with(re:pool). Would love for the owners to fix the observation deck & a few other things. Would be a fun addition to this funky, cool house. Would stay here again.

Immaculate lovely home, well-furnished, great location, responsive management. The only downside is that the back of the property abuts a large hotel whose noisy air conditioners interferes with the enjoyment of the beautiful back yard, a fact not mentioned in the description.

Cute buts needs tending to
Overall the experience was easy and pleasant. The online pictures are very,very old because the place was not as bright as they show. The yard and house had ivy overgrown everywhere. Yard absolutely needed some tending to. I read from other vacationers back in sept of this year noting the over grown foliage and it definitely wasn’t attended to. We have pictures to prove what we are talking about. Great location a little fixing up in yard and this place would get a 5star.

Nice house, TV didn’t work and pool/spa not hot upon arrival.
Lovely little house but was disappointed with experience. Property management made a big deal of giving them 3 days in advance if I wanted the pool/spa heated so it could ready when I arrived. I told them, and paid the fee within their time restraint but the pool/spa was not turned on when I arrived. It took a day to get it to a temperature that was useable and another day to make it comfortable. No compensation was giving to me for the time lost during it being heated up. Moreover, the TV was not working when we arrived and despite the technician coming out, they could never get it working. This was during the braves World Series quest so I ended up paying for a sling subscription so we could watch on the small bedroom tv. Again, no compensation was offered. This is my third time filling out this form and no-one has reached out to ease my frustration.

Two family beach vacation
House was beautifully decorated and appointed and extremely clean. Great location, easy walk to the beach and shops and restaurants. Kitchen was easy to cook in and we used pool and spa more than I thought we would. The only thing I would point out is that the room with the double and two singles consists of bunk beds, including a top single that is shorter than a standard-sized single mattress and the double and other single are on the floor. It worked well for our teens/older kids and would be perfect for little kids, but adults would likely be uncomfortable there. Speaking of comfort, the mattresses and bedding were extremely comfortable (not something I would have expected in a rental).

Beautiful spot close to the beach
Overall, we really liked staying here. The house and yard were beautiful , and we enjoyed the pool as well. Only drawback was that the internet could be spotty at times and we weren't able to access Netflix and Hulu due to needing a PIN that only the owner had and didn't feel comfortable giving out. I assume they are going to work on fixing this. Other than that, I would highly recommend because the house was beautiful and a short walk to the beach!

A lovely, very comfortable and beautifully decorated home two blocks from the beach in a quiet location on the island. Great kitchen nicely equipped. Disappointed that we could not use fireplaces and while the rental company was responsive to our needs the experience was impersonal. That said we plan to return because of how much we loved the home and location

Great house
It was just my wife and I, and it was the offseason and not great weather so we didn't get to enjoy all the house offers in the hot tub and yard. However, the house is nicely appointed, plenty of towels, kitchen appliances, and in light of the weather and Covid, I loved that they had all the pay TV stations, and could access Netflix and Hulu. It is 2 blocks from a nice beach, and a short walk/ride to the pier town, and close to everything else.

Girl's Getaway
My friends and I were excited about our two night stay in St. Simons. We chose this charming house because of the pool and hot tub and proximity to the beach. We arrived and checked in to find that the pool and hot tub were dirty. In communicating with the property management, I was told that the pump was not working and they hoped to have it repaired by the next morning. The next morning the pump was being installed only to find out that the blower was not working. The pool was cleaned later that morning. In only a two night stay we had lost most of our pool/hot tub time. I again called the property management to find out about the blower repair to be told it would not be replaced until the end of the week. The frustrating part was that I was doing the calling! The management was not following up with any information. We were offered the first night free for our trouble. The other issued that was confusing to us was that the bedroom/bathroom doors upstairs were glass. No such thing as privacy so beware in mixed company. The house itself was charming and still had many features relevant to it's 1947 history. It reminded us of what a true beach cottage was like. The kitchen was great and had been completely remodeled. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The best part was the easy walk to the beach and the downtown area. DJ

Gorgeous home & perfect location
This home is spacious with plenty of beds and seating for everyone. The kids bedroom is adorable, and we loved that the kids bathroom had a bathtub and a small toilet that was perfect for them. The yard was beautiful, but the backyard always felt hotter and more humid than anywhere else. Short walk to the beach was very convenient. We were very disappointed to find out after booking that the rooftop deck is off-limits. I'd suggest including that information in the listing as the rooftop deck was a big reason we booked this property. Also a note to future guests, be very attentive when using the oven. It runs extremely hot and will burn your food in a matter of minutes. We tried adjusting temperatures and cook times but nothing seemed to work. Other than the rooftop deck being off-limits and the temperamental oven, we loved our stay!
