Also the folks from 5starstays are so helpful. I reached out when I couldn't figure something out shortly after arriving and they took care of it so fast I couldn’t believe it. "A lovely new home just outside Saluda, NC with all the comforts of home. Of importance to us were comfortable beds and lots of porch chairs to enjoy the wonderful views. Easy access to Saluda, Hendersonville, Ashville, Tyron and the surrounding area. In a quiet, well maintained neighborhood. Excellent communication with the owner and the property manager."

The only negative I would say is that the home is not suited for older people due to the extreme slope of the property. There is a bedroom on the main floor where my parents were able to stay, but the bathroom was very tiny. My dad has mobility issues and really struggled to get dressed in it. "We had a wonderful stay at Lake Lure and enjoyed the condo. It is well stocked with everything you need. It is a short drive to the Lake and all the amenities at Rumbling Bald including the indoor pool, mini golf, hot tub and good food at Legends. We used the condo as a home base to go climb Chimney Rock and see Asheville. We had great communication with the owner and a neighbor who helped take care of things. It was a great getaway and recommend it."

"This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend."
