"Three generations of our family spent two weeks at this beautiful villa, and it was a very special vacation. The villa, grounds and pool are maintained in perfect condition - just the right combination of old-world charm with modern conveniences. The kids loved the pool, and the adults very much enjoyed the cocktail hour in the beautiful grounds by the pool at the end of the day. We love to cook, as a family, and found everything we needed to prepare meals in the huge kitchen. We also had several dinners prepared by the staff - the welcome and traditional Tuscan dinners were delicious, the food plentiful - more than enough for some big appetites. But the highlight of our time at the villa was the daily breakfast prepared by Alice - a large selection of breakfast foods and several daily surprise specials at a very reasonable price. As good as the food was, the real treat was spending time with Alice every morning - a fascinating person who served as our unofficial tour guide, concierge, resident expert in all things Italian - providing valuable tips on each day’s planned excursions. She even helped direct one of our group to the villa on the phone - please heed her advice to use Google maps for driving directions - car GPS and Apple maps were not as accurate. Alice arranged a winery tour and lunch in Montepulciano and it is not to be missed - a memorable day. You will not be disappointed in any way by staying at this villa - enjoy - and give Alice our best."

"We were only here one night, but it was a great room with a small kitchen and a clothes washing machine, which we were able to take advantage of during out trip. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked great. No complaints at all. The owner, Stefano, is a great guy who also owns a wonderful restaurant, "Seasons" only a block away. Wonderful food wither inside or in a pleasant little garden setting. We had an early train, so couldn't take advantage of the free continental breakfast at the restaurant, but the kitchen was well stocked with pods for fresh espresso."
