"Tom and Maureen were the best hosts and we really enjoyed talking with both of them! Their place is so tastefully decorated and comfortable! When we arrived Tom showed us around and told us to help ourselves to anything in the dining area including a wide assortment of coffee, tea and snacks in addition to wine. Maureen had baked some organic apple butter scones that we couldn’t pass up and they were delicious and moist! We had never been to this area before so we drove around and went to Knob...

"This house was a perfect place for large family gathering. Minutes away from skiing. The house was very clean, perfectly themed, and multiple levels allowed everyone to enjoy their stay without feeling overcrowded. Our teens/children enjoyed the game room/lower level, and adults loved spending time by the fire and gathering around the kitchen. The one negative was we were not able to enjoy the hot tub. A great choice - would stay again
"Stayed 2 nights and if ever in the area in the future, would stay at this Super 8 again. Check in and out was fast and friendly. The room was very clean, even the TV remote which can be very disgusting. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the small refrigerator and microwave convenient, and the area quiet. During our stay, trash was removed, and clean towels left, which was just fine. Breakfast is minimal, juice, coffee & muffins, and no reason to downgrade a hotel. There is a large Giant very close with a lot of food choices for the microwave. If any of the staff of this Super 8 read this, there is one thing to be aware of: there was an overpowering air freshener smell in the room and my companion is extremely sensitive to scent, getting irritated and congested right away. Luckily, the window opened, and it was comfortable without the AC, so we were able to air out the room. If we needed AC/heat, I don't know what we would have done. Despite that, five stars for the hotel & friendly staff."
