"Overall I was pleased with the hotel and staff. My only issue, after a long drive and late check in, was the lack of food selection at the bar. The receptionist ensured me that I could get the same selection of food at the bar since the restaurant was closing. Two selections were shot down immediately. I was told only burgers and sandwiches were avaliable. I just expected a better menu."

Lovely stay- would definitely re-book
"Staff were great for check in and out, and for breakfast. Good breakfast.
Room air on didn’t work but a quick call to reception and they immediately sent someone to fix it and when they couldn’t get moved us. No hassle at all."
"Very pleasant stay. Good nights sleep. Can walk straight out of property. Reasonably good breakfast. Only criticism is that the boathouse restaurant had very slow service even though it was not busy, and the food was only ok."

"The hotel is fantastic! Well located and just so charming inside and out. Great service and amenities! Highly recommend if you are staying in Oxford, every thing is close by with a bus stop around the corner which we used to visit Blenheim. The train station is also only a 10 min. "

Fantastic Hotel on the Avon a short walk from Bath
"Lovely hotel, food and staff.
The walk along the side of the canal into Bath was a true pleasure.
Beautiful views of the Avon from the bar & restaurant.
The staff were friendly and I can fully recommend the Fillet Steak, Panna Cotta Dessert and the Full English Breakfast.
The parking is a bit tight, but even on the busy Saturday night, there were alternative car parking spaces available and 2 or 3 large cars managed to squeeze in fine, without causing an obstruction.
I was also surprised to find out that the £10 parking charge is a one off charge for your stay and not per night as it appeared to be described on the Hotels.com website.
I would definitely stop here again."
