"The hotel is on the edge of Springfield, a short drive in to town and convenient to roads to other parts of the state. Nearby are big box outlets and car dealerships, not good for walking around the immediate area. We stayed on the first floor, seemed musty from recent rains (?). If possible ask for a room on an upper floor. Staff friendly and helpful."

"The guy that checked me in about midnight was staying past his shift when someone else didn't show up but he took good care of me and even found my rewards info.
