Amazing luxury retreat for that special getaway! "Better Together" is cottage number 1 in Seaside, Florida and sits directly gulf front high on the sand dune with forever views. In 1998 Seaside town founder Mr. Robert Davis desired to have several low impact cottages built and set directly gulf front. The design inspiration was from the "honeymoon cottage" that Thomas Jefferson lived in while he built Monticello.

The cottage Better Together has just completed a gorgeous renovation. This is the the perfect Romantic Getaway Spot!

I've just spent 16 days at this fantastic property. As the photos indicate the space is beautifully decorated and appointed. Communication from Dean was immediate, clear, and concise. This is one of the few oceanfront cottages that has a washer & dryer which was imperative considering my length of stay. All the appliances in the home are top notch and everything you would need for cooking is available. You can't beat being directly oceanfront; I only ventured out onto the sand twice during my stay because being on the porch was the perfect way for me to enjoy the beach. Morning coffees and evening glasses of wine were so much more enjoyable with the view and the sound of the waves. Before my trip was over I had already booked the home for an even longer stay next year.

Better Together is amazing
My husband and I were there to celebrate our year of zeros (his 70th, my 60th and our 30th together). We could not have picked a better place. The place is amazing. It is a beautiful home with everything you need and more. The home is superbly equipped with everything you need to feel comfortable. The home is in a fantastic location - steps from the white sand of the beach yet only a quick walk to the center of town. The views from the home are beyond beautiful. We began each day watching the sun come up and ended it with a view of the sunset! The one day of rain we had a great time sitting on the deck with a nice beverage watching the rain - calm and peaceful. The host was the best! He is quick to respond to your text and very kind in his communications. He sent everything we needed to know with detailed instructions where needed. We have stayed in many Seaside homes over the past 20+ years of visiting and each had something special about it --- Better Together has EVERYTHING from those combined! If you are looking for romantic get-a-way in a gorgeous home with excellent views - you have to stay here! You will fall in love with it as we did. Monya & Michael Monroe, GA

Idyllic Beachfront Cottage
I can’t say enough about this beautiful beach home. Located in the perfect spot, with fantastic views of the ocean and a peaceful neighborhood, yet a short walk to the main offerings of Seaside. This cottage is beautifully decorated, with thoughtful comforts of home and provisions stored everywhere. My sweetheart and I needed nothing other than to enjoy the surroundings and each other. We cannot wait to return, this was a stay of a lifetime!

Amazing View
The cottage was immaculate. High end appliances. Breathtaking view. Shops/restaurants within 5 minute walk. You can be at the water’s edge in 5 minutes as well. Host is very quick to respond and made sure all our questions were answered. Perfect for our anniversary celebration getaway. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Seaside Hideaway for Two
What a wonder find! Better Together is the perfect getaway for couples. Location cannot be beat. It’s always difficult to find an ocean front location in Seaside. Private beach access is just steps away and the view from the upstairs balcony is spectacular - views of sunrise and sunset. We loved that we could walk to our favorite restaurants with no worries about parking or driving after adult beverages, but we also decided to bring dinner back one night just to enjoy the privacy and views from the upstairs deck. This was one of the cleanest rentals we have stayed in and the amenities were top notch. It was also the best experience we have had with a host. Dean was very responsive throughout the entire process, from initial inquiries, our stay and checkout process. We loved the property and experience so much we booked another date within days of checkout.

My wife and I had such a wonderful, refreshing time at better together. The cottage is beautiful, the views are incredible, and the bed is so dang comfortable! You can see both the sunrise and sunset over the ocean from the back porch. We loved it and can’t wait to come back.

My wife and I spent our 35th Anniversary at Better Together and we had a terrific time. The house was perfect and just as described: Amazing views, fantastic beach, freshly updated and beautiful interior. We loved the fact the house was so close to town. Owner was very responsive and incredibly helpful!!
