"My husband and I stayed in this lovely cabin for two nights and we wished we had booked it for more. The mountain view from the back porch was breathtaking. The cabin is perfectly located for access to Pine Valley Recreation Area and other nearby hiking trails. We were thrilled to enjoy our meals with views from the dining room windows of visiting wild turkeys, deer and hummingbirds. The place had plenty of room for the two of us, but could comfortably accommodate more."

My stay at the Petersen cabin was a cozy, rustic, nostalgic, 'cabin-y,' and an emotionally provoking experience. (Like always for my times in PV). And my hostess, again, as usual, was the best! "Beatifull house in perfect location. The house is new, clean and decorated with taste. From the pictures on the listing we knew what to expect but when we get there our expectations were exceeded. The house have everything to feel like you are at home. We enjoyed the beatiful view every morning when we drink coffee in the backyard. We were lucky to see a deer crossing the road. "The view of the mountains are amazing. The deer come down and graze across the street. The area is great for walking and there are amazing mountain trails nearby. The Pine Valley Recreation area is within walking distance, and there are lots of games provided in the home."

"The unit was very spacious. But we had a few issues, we called about. After getting voicemail, the property manager called back in about 15 minutes, she was very short, said she would send someone by the next morning. The problem was fixed, but the next day the smoke detector kept chirping. We called about it, but didn’t get any response. We finally removed the battery. We were hoping for better communications with the property manager."
