"Did a short visit to Dublin and enjoyed my stay at the Croake Park. Didn't realize before booking that the Park is a stadium and not a green space! Wish the hotel would have told us more about the stadium when we got there. Our taxi driver let us know we could do a tour of it, but didn't have time to factor that into our plans. It was in a relatively convenient area. A short walk to central Dublin or 5 minute Uber ride. There was one game while we stayed. They put a notice on our door...

The connections from the hotel to the airport and all the areas we wanted to visit were great. A lot of buses within a short walk. "The hotel is not in the middle of Dublin but that is one of the things I liked about it. It was very quite and the light rail train is right there so it’s only a 10 minute ride to the center of things. The staff was lovely and very helpful. The rooms are small but clean. "We liked this hotel for its location and cleanliness and friendly staff. We reserved 3 rooms for 5 of us so we had ample space. I was personally put in a weird bunk bed room that I didn’t reserve ( so definitely not a VIP upgrade which I’m entitled to). My kids were in very large doubles which I was also supposed to have alone. While getting dressed 3 kids in their 20s walked in on me half naked…THEY were supposed to have the bunk room! It was very embarrassing. But I guess mistakes are made....

"Beautifully located right next to Trinity College. It has a very modern, edgy vibe which was fine for the most part, except they didn't accept cash for transactions (I wanted to leave a tip for the housekeeping staff and couldn't break a large bill) and the very high-tech coffee maker in the room that you needed a smart phone to access the directions for, and even then was more than a chore than it should have been. Overall, though, a very fine hotel and VERY helpful staff. "
