5/5 Excellent
"We stayed here on a family vacation with our kids and their 9 month old child. The resort had a pack and play available as well as fridge and microwave. The front desk staff was very accommodating and helped arrange taxi service to the Mayan ruins and calico jacks for zip lining. There are several dining options within easy walking distance and we felt very safe in the area. Residents of the area are very warm and welcoming. The pool bar was a welcome sight at the end of a busy day. "
"The best place to stay in San Ignacio!! The grounds were absolutely beautiful, a little oasis just outside of the town center. The rooms were so clean and the AC was strong which we needed. The restaurant was great and so accommodating with our meals. All of the staff was wonderful and friendly. And the infinity pool was the cherry on top!"
"We went during a very dry season with 33 days of drought. The smoke from the forest fires were overwhelming but it did not take away from the beauty and functionalities of the property. Every staff member we encountered were amazing. Not a thing to complain about. "

"The staff was AMAZING!! The food was some of the best food I have ever had! We had massages that were great! Enjoyed tubing (& successfully made it over the falls!), rope swing into the river, hiking & night hike. The resort scheduled all our transportation (to/from Belize City) & the ATM tour we did. We stayed 4 nights. In hind sight the only thing we would have done differently was booked a room with A/C. The humidity was brutal in May. "
"Mystic River Resort feels like you are staying in the Congo with an amazing staff, food, drinks, and rooms. The rooms do not have AC so we recommend staying here in the winter/spring unless you are used to the humid heat. The excursions available all around are awesome! And the food/drinks within town are amazing and CHEAP! We will definitely be back to the resort in the winter for a cooler experience as we see more temples."
"I loved staying at Falling Leaves! Paula was so kind and made sure we had a comfortable stay. She was always in contact with the drivers who took us to our tours, and she made great suggestions for our trip. The property itself was so inviting and peaceful, I felt like we had our own oasis! The room was just what we were looking for - tons of space with a roomy bathroom and shower with great temperature control and water pressure. Their restaurant and the staff were very accommodating, and they made our stay very enjoyable. The Cahal Pech ruins are a two-minute walk from the hotel, which was very convenient and fun to go to. I highly recommend this for your stay in San Ignacio!"

"The property is beautifully maintained and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It's a little farther out of the "city centre" but taxis are easy and cheap. The rooms were very clean, excellent water pressure, pool was clean and the onsite meals were delicious and authentic. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. "

"My sister and I loved our stay here! The restaurant is great, the staff is so helpful getting excursions booked, and the iguana project is wonderful. The photos do not do this place justice. Sitting by the pool as the sun began to go down and all the lights were on was simply beautiful! The hotel is on a big hill, so while I did do a lot of walking because town is very close - that may not be for everyone! "
