"Our stay was perfect! We loved waking up to the Mountain View. The accommodations were upscale and super comfortable. We went skiing, snow shoeing, hiking (all within minutes) and also shopped/dined in Salida. Mary Ellen and John were great hosts! Always there for us when we had a question but didn’t see them at all (except for the night they invited us to the lodge-NYE-and served us delicious lobster pizza and cocktails:) Great people, great place. Highly recommend."

"Great cabin not too far outside of town. The wilderness is really nice that surrounds the cabin. Very clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub was nice on snowy night! Definitely would stay again! Thanks"

"We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back. It’s the perfect location in the heart of Salida. Walkable to lots of shops, restaurants, coffee etc. neighboring areas of BV and Leadville were fun to explore as well. Easy access to tons of hikes in the area. Kitchen has everything you need, and everything was very clean."
