For a nice, little mountain/get away, this was anything but!
Mike, the owner is very rude. I have a service dog, under ADA rules and regulations, he asked what my service animal is for, which is not allowed by the government.
He’s allowed to ask what the dog does, not my disability. He didn’t even ask for car information, nor my ID. Just heckled me about my, well identified dog. I’ve never been harassed by that for my service animal.
Once I got to my room- it had never been turned over. No clean sheets There was hair in the bed, food left in the fridge, written notes and trash.
There was a couple who parked directly where they shouldn’t, with plenty of spaces open and the owner did not ask them to move.
The hot tub is a joke. You only get 30 minutes and the creepy owner watches you. And be sure you can lift the top off because even though you made a reservation, and he’s watching you, you have to take the top off.
I got absolutely no sleep. The bed was terrible. Obviously it was uncleanly.
The breakfast, if you can call it that, was a joke. Milk, OJ and water served in pitchers, with bare minimum food.
The “view” is a joke- you can see it out the BATHROOM window. There’s no view.
As a CO Native, I like to give small businesses a chance, but this is one place you should not go.
Even the breakfast attendant, poor thing, said the owner is very rude.
He told me there were other places to stay down the road, I should’ve gone to one of those. BEWARE!
