Over the past decade, I've relied on this motel for accommodation. Initially, it provided a pleasant experience with well-maintained rooms and a satisfying breakfast spread including eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and coffee/tea. Karen, a welcoming presence on staff, added to the charm. Conveniently situated on the outskirts of downtown, it offered easy access to nearby dining options and bars.
However, recent visits have revealed a decline in room quality. Disappointingly, they no longer offer eggs and sausage for breakfast. The neglected carpets are accumulating dirt, leading to an unpleasant odor in the rooms. Walls show signs of wear, and one toilet was improperly installed, emitting a loud clunking noise. Despite this, the beds and amenities like a mini-fridge and microwave remain satisfactory.
While the motel's location and amenities still appeal, the diminishing room upkeep is concerning. I'm hopeful management will address these issues to maintain its reputation. With proper maintenance, it can continue to serve as an option for those comfortable with motel accommodations.
