"Driving into the property gives a definite feel of old time motel. But as soon as we walked into the room it was obvious a lot of effort has been put into updating the rooms. Liked the way it was decorated and it was mostly comfortable. My main suggestion is that the room is too small to have the TV at the ceiling. I understand the height but by moving it to the far wall you wouldn’t have to lie down or crane your neck to watch it."

"Room was very clean and property well maintained. Super easy no contact check in/check out process. The contact we did have with the owners they were very nice and always responded quickly. So glad we picked this place for our first anniversary!"

"It is so much fun to stay in a neighborhood. People we chatted with, walking to Penny’s Kitchen and down to the locks. A great place to visit Sault Ste Marie. The apartment was more space than my husband and I needed but we so enjoyed being there. Were very interested to see it and we were not disappointed. We are in our 60’s and pretty active. The stairs were not a problem but we understood they were there. So no surprise! Hope to come again. Thank you for having us"

"this is a VRBO property rented via Expedia. Expedia gave me a 6-digit passcode. it did not work. i requested another passcode and received a 6-digit passcode. it did not work. I then contracted the owner and the owner advised gave me a 4-difit passcode. looking back, the email sent to me had a 4-digit passcode. why Expedia gave me a 6-digit passcode, I do not know. The rooms were clean and comfortable. "

"It was a nice, cozy stay in a good location, not too far from the Mackinac bridge or the ferry boats. It was nice and clean and everything needed was provided. Overall, it was a great stay!"

"Like my title says, this was a great stay in a unique property. Beautiful 123 year old house. I really enjoyed the different architectural details. EASY check in, EASY checkout. Nice location near downtown. I have to give an extra shout out to whomever cleans these units. Mine was refreshingly clean. AND fast communication with guest contact. Enjoyed! Will be back"

"Property was nice except for the fact that there are no locks on the door. We did not feel safe leaving our belongings there when we were not there. Would appreciate some kind of a locking system. Would not stay here again but only for that reason."
