"Hotel is cute and old fashioned. Lots of character. However, once I notified the front desk that I had a small dog I was asked if it was a service dog? They said only service dogs were allowed and it is $70 extra. I told the person that I specifically chose pet friendly option when trying to find a place and that this hotel came up, amongst others. He said that $70 is common, which I disagree. We had other hotels not charge at all and others only $20-25. "

"Overall, great staff! Upon arrival we had to wait a bit for someone to show up to the front desk. It seemed like there was only one gentleman working, and he was downstairs at the restaurant.
